Equipment/Maintenance Technician

About the role

Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for an Equipment Maintenance Technician. The position is based in Niagara Falls, NY, near the famous Niagara Falls.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings
• Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning equipment
• Use test and diagnostic equipment as required
• Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required
• Perform equipment modifications as directed by manufacturing engineers
• Calibrate equipment as needed
• Work with engineering team on qualifications

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• 2-4 years of related equipment maintenance experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
• Math and computer skills required
• Close attention to detail skills required

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15
