Equipment Maintenance Technician

Essential Functions

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean surfaces to maintain cleanliness of the facility.
• Dispose of garbage, recycling, and production scraps as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and conduct regular inspections of restrooms, break rooms, offices, and outside areas.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as light painting or repairs as needed.
• Address and report equipment defects or maintenance needs to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Follow all procedures, policies, and understand the equipment before using it.
• Communicate any unsafe conditions or acts observed to supervisors.
• Work efficiently according to standard operating procedures and collaborate with other team members in a fast-paced environment.

Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• The ability to effectively communicate and interact with stakeholders is beneficial.
• The ability to manage interactions and provide service is advantageous.
• Independence and self-motivation are key, with the ability to meet production schedules.
• Ability to cross-train others is desirable.
• Knowledge of safety procedures when handling saws and other tools is necessary.
