Schedule
Monday through Thursday, 1:30 PM – 12 AM (2nd shift)
Pay
$26.44/hour + shift differential
Responsibilities
- Limited electrical troubleshooting, repair, and installation of motor controls, fuses, circuit breakers, PLCs, etc.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and install complex machinery using air, hydraulics, motors, bearings, etc.
- Fabricate production equipment, fixtures, support frames, benches, shelving, etc. (welding and fabrication skills preferred).
- Schedule and perform detailed preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment including SMT placement equipment, wave solders, selective solder, etc.
- Follow manufacturer-recommended procedures to maintain equipment in world-class condition.
- Limited repair and installation of pipes and plumbing carrying gas, water, vacuum, air, or miscellaneous hydraulic oils.
- Limited repair and installation of low-voltage electrical wiring in the facility.
- Repair and improve facility grounds and equipment.
- Maintain production and facility equipment, including detailed cleaning, painting, replacing worn parts, and calibration.
- Document all work in a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Requirements
- 1+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Broad mechanical/electrical background with familiarity in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electronics.
- Willing to obtain MN Special Engineer Boiler License or greater within 1 year of employment.
- High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or 1-3 years of related experience.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on SMT placement, wave solders, and selective solder equipment.
