About the role
Serves as the supervisor responsible for maintenance of grounds, resort, construction vehicles and power equipment. Ensures high quality maintenance is accomplished in an efficient and effective manner.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and participates in the maintenance of, grounds, resort, construction vehicles and power equipment.
- Uses a computer in daily operations to order parts, coordinate with other team members and prepare reports and other documents.
- Maintain parts inventories, create POs, order parts, receive parts.
- Keeps the parts area clean and organized with the required par stock of all inventories at all times.
- Pick up parts and supplies as needed at local suppliers.
- Pick up / drop off equipment for repairs or maintenance using company vehicles, trailers, lifts, ramps etc., while maintaining records on task tracker.
- Cleans and maintains company vehicles.
- Buys trust with vendors and finds new vendors for competitive pricing.
- Helps with the snow removal processes of the resort.
- Ensures roadways and parking lots are always in safe and passable condition.
- Maintains all small engines such as push mowers, weed eaters, chainsaws, ect.
- Uses walking and riding mowers, and a variety of powered and non-powered hand tools to maintain grounds and landscaping.
- Cleans and maintains equipment.
- Completes Daily/weekly/monthly checklists on all equipment and vehicles.
- Keeps track of maintenance records on Task Tracker and has daily updates for the grounds team and Grounds Manager.
Requirements
- 3 Years of experience in equipment and grounds maintenance.
- Valid WV driver’s license.
- High school diploma.
- Work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to work varied hours including evenings and weekends.
- Able to communicate in written and oral forms.
- Able to interact well with others in a professional manner.
- Able to operate a variety of equipment and hand tools in a safe manner.
- Able to learn new equipment and procedures.
