Equipment Engineering Technician Supervisor

About the role

Oversee the maintenance of production equipment and supervise equipment technicians to meet company standards and ensure minimum equipment downtime. Manage technicians who repair and maintain production and test equipment, establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures, and manage training programs for proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair. Maintain inventory and spare parts, schedule manufacturing activities, and select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation. Supervise skilled non-exempt employees (e.g., Technicians).

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment to meet company standards and minimize downtime
• Oversee technicians who repair and maintain production and test equipment
• Establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures
• Manage training programs for proper operation, preventive maintenance, and repair
• Maintain inventory and/or spare parts
• Schedule manufacturing activities
• Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient operation of the function
• Supervise skilled non-exempt employees (e.g., Technicians)

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or related military technical experience
• 3+ years of experience working in a Semiconductor environment (Engineering, Technician, or Pit Crew capacity in fab environment)
