Responsibilities
- Create robust sourcing strategies and cost-out recommendations specifically for equipment, capital expenditures, and construction services.
- Provide thought leadership and benchmarking across mission critical equipment, construction spend, and general contractor/subcontractor engagements.
- Synthesize disparate data sources (spend analytics, supplier bids, market benchmarks) into actionable insights and clear deliverables.
- Work closely with clients to identify and interpret key project requirements tied to CapEx purchases, contractor scopes, and project timelines.
- Develop and nurture relationships with client stakeholders, including procurement executives, project managers, and construction leadership.
- Facilitate development of project plans and overall project management to ensure effective delivery of construction sourcing initiatives and capital equipment procurement projects.
- Cook up with subject matter experts within and outside of the firm to address cost, quality, schedule, and risk considerations.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal/external resources to align priorities, accomplish objectives, and satisfy all stakeholders.
- Contribute to the Equipment and Construction Center of Excellence’s strategic decisions and direction through subject matter insights.
- Exhibit integrity in decisions and firm relationships.
- Achieve excellence and dependability through the execution of projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience executing Strategic Sourcing projects/programs, developing and executing cost optimization strategies.
- Minimum 1 year Procurement and sourcing experience, including exposure to equipment & construction negotiations.
- Minimum 1 year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint) products, including the ability to develop and interpret complex analytical models and ad-hoc reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If associate degree, must have a minimum of 6 years’ work experience)
- If you have proven client-facing skills and are proficient at building and nurturing client relationships, strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives, strong analytical skills, you excel at planning and managing multiple projects, tasks, and initiatives simultaneously, comfortable in an entrepreneurial, performance-driven environment and a capacity for innovation and process improvement, prior experience in driving insights using visualization tools (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) and analytics tools (i.e., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics), you have earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree, Equipment or Construction Sourcing Manager with Consulting Experience - prior consulting firm experience combined with hands-on knowledge of equipment or construction sourcing or project execution, Mission Critical Equipment / CapEx Procurement Manager - background in procurement management/directorship from industries with significant capital equipment investments, Construction Services / General Contractor / Subcontractor SME - background in operations, cost estimation, financial analysis, procurement, construction management, engineering, or supply chain management, MEP engineer (Mechanical, Electrical) Industry Backgrounds - applicants from the High Tech, Data Center, Life Sciences, Utilities, and Industrials industries are preferred.

Pay
Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
Schedule
Travel is required for this role and could vary from 10–50%.
