BruZiv Landscaping LLC is seeking an experienced Equipment & Fleet Maintenance Technician with strong landscaping experience to maintain our commercial equipment, vehicles, and field operations. This full-time, year-round position is ideal for a skilled mechanic who also has extensive hands-on landscaping experience and can support both equipment reliability and high-quality landscape services.
Responsibilities
Equipment & Fleet Maintenance
- Diagnose, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial landscaping equipment and small engines
- Maintain and repair zero-turn mowers, commercial lawn equipment, trailers, trucks, snowplows, salt spreaders, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair gasoline engines, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
- Perform oil changes, tune-ups, brake inspections, tire repairs, battery replacement, and general fleet maintenance
- Install, maintain, and repair snowplow systems and salt-spreading equipment
- Maintain preventative maintenance schedules and service records
- Identify equipment issues early and recommend repairs to prevent downtime
- Perform welding, fabrication, and equipment modifications when needed
Landscaping & Field Operations
- Perform high-quality lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, and seasonal cleanups
- Assist with landscape installations, planting, mulching, bed maintenance, and hardscape projects
- Operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and efficiently
- Support snow and ice removal operations during winter months
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide quality workmanship on customer properties
Qualifications
- 5+ years of mechanical experience preferred, with strong experience repairing commercial landscaping equipment and small engines
- 5+ years of professional landscaping experience required
- Proven ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Experience maintaining commercial mowers, outdoor power equipment, trucks, trailers, and snow equipment
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices, equipment operation, and jobsite safety
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete repairs efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work outdoors in all weather conditions
Pay
$22–$26/hour based on experience and skill level
