PetVet Care Centers' Manor Equine Hospital is currently seeking an Equine Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join their team!

Position Overview

Manor Equine Hospital is seeking a friendly, organized, and horse-savvy Care Coordinator to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for horse owners, trainers, referring veterinarians, and visitors, helping ensure an exceptional client experience while supporting the daily operations of our busy equine referral and ambulatory practice.

Qualification and Competencies

• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
• Possess a high school diploma or GED
• Experience with horses: must possess the knowledge and critical thinking skills required to determine equine emergencies vs standard appointment requests, and the ability to relay pertinent details and information to DVMs accurately and efficiently
• At least one year of experience working in an administrative or clerical capacity
• The ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize work appropriately, and maintain excellent customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Computer skills: competency with Microsoft Office suite, experience with veterinary PIMS systems a plus
• Dependability; full-time presence at work is essential for every shift

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 7:45 am to 4 pm
Overtime as needed
All time off to be preapproved by supervisor
