Equine Veterinary Assistant

The role involves providing support in equine veterinary care, assisting veterinarians during examinations, and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Supporting veterinarians during equine medical procedures
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in veterinary technology or related field
• Experience in equine care preferred
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Qualifications

• Current certification in veterinary technology
• Knowledge of equine anatomy and physiology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Good computer skills, including data entry
• Ability to lift and move patients as necessary
