Equine Marketing Intern

About the role

The Equine Marketing Intern’s primary objective will be to learn all aspects of Sandhills products and services, and to focus on new market development within the equine industry.

Responsibilities

• Contact sellers within the equine and livestock industries and educate them on our products and services.
• Enter their own information and their listings for them.
• Handle in-bound and outbound customer calls, and email communications.
• Gather information on shows and meetings in the industry.
• Research the equine and livestock industries and the proper way to list the information on our site.
• Provide feedback from the industry.
• Build solid relationships with members of the industries we serve.
• Achieve a heavy focus on customer service and sales.
• Assist in the implementation of various tasks.

Requirements

• Prior experience or knowledge in the equine industry.
• Ability to commute when scheduled to the local office is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate within a team environment.
• Results oriented.
• Flexible and open to change.
• A stable and progressive work history.
• A professional appearance and demeanor.
