About the role

Massachusetts Equine Clinic is a four-doctor, full-service equine ambulatory practice serving various equine disciplines across New England. Located 20 minutes from Tufts Veterinary School and easily accessible from Boston and Providence, the clinic offers a blend of scenic countryside and urban amenities.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in wellness and preventative care
• Sports medicine and lameness
• Emergency medicine and wound management
• Field surgery and anesthesia
• Infectious disease management
• Client communication and practice management

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a DVM program
• Passing score on the North American Veterinary Licensing Exam (NAVLE)
• Strong academic performance
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Completed all prerequisite courses for veterinary school
• Completed at least one rotation in small animal medicine and surgery
• Completed at least one rotation in equine medicine and surgery
• Completed at least one rotation in emergency medicine

Pay

The expected salary for this position is $45,000 per year. The final compensation offered may vary based on factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, and internal equity considerations.
