About the role
BluePearl Pet Hospital is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our dynamic team in Tacoma, WA. Located along the shores of Puget Sound and with views of Mount Rainier, Tacoma offers breathtaking scenery, outdoor activities, and beautiful parks.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to emergency patients
- Specialize in emergency medicine, dentistry, neurology, oncology, radiology & diagnostic imaging, and surgery
- Take advantage of surgical mentorship and cover common ER surgeries such as enterotomies, splenectomies, C-sections, GDV, pyometra, and more
- Work in a state-of-the-art facility equipped with an on-site MRI and CT scanner

Requirements
- Current AVMA accreditation
- Experience in emergency medicine preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
- License to practice veterinary medicine in the state of Washington
- Passing scores on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE)
