About the role
Oakridge Equine Hospital is home to a collaborative team of five board-certified surgeons and a board-certified internal medicine specialist, with a busy and varied caseload that spans sports medicine, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and emergency care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with outpatient diagnostics
- Lameness and sports medicine exams
- Surgery
- The care of hospitalized patients
- Dedicated anesthesia training
Requirements
We prioritize teaching and mentorship, and each intern is paired with different clinicians on a rotating basis to ensure broad exposure and a well-rounded experience.
Qualifications
- Must be a licensed veterinarian
- Experience in equine practice preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

Benefits
- $62,000 annual compensation package
- $40,000 salary
