Equine Care Specialist - Flexible Part-Time

Duties

• Giving food and water
• Turning out horses into pastures
• Cleaning stalls and living quarters
• Interacting with visitors and volunteers in a positive and courteous manner
• Operating tractors or other equipment with various attachments in a safe and responsible manner
• Providing all animals with proper care and attention including adherence to established feeding, sanitation and medical procedures

Requirements

• Must be 18 or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must have previous horse handling experience
• Must have a flexible schedule that will include weekend hours

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide all animals with proper care and attention including adherence to established feeding, sanitation and medical procedures

Skills

• Previous horse handling experience
• Safe and responsible operation of tractors or other equipment with various attachments

Pay

Starting pay is $17.00/hour.

Schedule

The number of hours per week is open to your availability, and there may be some weeks when there aren't hours scheduled.
