Equine Care Specialist

Responsibilities

• Giving Food and Water
• Turning Out Horses into Pastures
• Cleaning Stalls and Living Quarters
• Interacting with Visitors and Volunteers
• Operating Tractors and Equipment
• Providing Proper Care and Attention

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Previous horse handling experience is required
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Basic knowledge of equine behavior and handling is preferred
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude when interacting with visitors, volunteers, and team members
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Must be reliable, responsible, and possess a genuine love for animals

Starting Pay

$16.00/hour
