Responsibilities

• Coordinates project and operational activities across the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO), supporting project planning, delivery schedules, milestone tracking, status reporting, financial tracking, and process deliverables.
• Partners with project managers, department leaders, and stakeholders to organize project activities, clarify priorities, track dependencies, and align project scope, schedules, and outcomes with organizational goals.
• Facilitates project intake by coordinating submission, review, prioritization, and routing of new work requests, ensuring complete and documented intake for evaluation.
• Manages the project estimating process by collecting input, tracking status, documenting assumptions, and ensuring consistent estimates for planning and decision-making.
• Prepares agendas, records decisions, and creates deliverables for project requirements, design sessions, and process meetings.
• Coordinates business and customer priority lists for Program Increments, ensuring features and requirements are entered in Agile tools and ready for PI Planning.
• Supports Agile teams by monitoring feature status, documenting risks, providing updates, and ensuring project data accuracy in portfolio management tools.
• Handles EPMO administration, including team communications, SharePoint site oversight, and team-building activities.
• Maintains project documentation and reporting in tools like SharePoint, Microsoft Office, and project management platforms.
• Facilitates project closedown by verifying staff hours, obtaining cost approvals, and ensuring projects are closed in tracking tools.
• Creates project communications, presentations, dashboards, and visual materials for leadership and stakeholders.
• Maintains departmental procedures, standards, and compliance documentation, recommending process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, project management, or related field.
• Three years of experience coordinating technical projects, supporting project delivery, maintaining project/portfolio data, and preparing reports in a cross-functional environment.
• PMP certification or similar preferred.
• Working knowledge of project management principles, Agile delivery, and software development processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
• Familiarity with project management tools like Planview, Jira, or Agility.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, maintain schedules, track dependencies, and analyze project data.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information systems, project management, or related field.
• Three years of relevant experience.
• PMP certification or similar preferred.

Skills

• Project management principles and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., Planview, Jira, Agility).
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
