Senior EPMO Analyst

About the role

This role supports an Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) and involves strengthening project execution discipline and improving the consistency of portfolio-level reporting. The contractor will help define and operationalize practical project management guardrails that promote quality expectations across initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardize project management templates and tools for project oversight and reporting.
• Define project charter expectations, including scope, objectives, ownership, and sponsor approval requirements.
• Establish requirements-definition practices covering business, technical, and testing requirements.
• Implement a consistent framework for identifying, documenting, escalating, and reporting project risks and issues.
• Define project closure criteria, including signoff, ownership transition for open items, and benefit tracking.
• Define expectations for feedback loops and retrospectives to capture lessons learned.

Qualifications

• Experience: 3–6 years of experience in project coordination, PMO support, project governance, portfolio reporting, business analysis, or a related function.
• Demonstrated experience supporting project lifecycle activities is required.
• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of project management documentation such as charters, status reports, RAID logs, and action item trackers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is necessary. Experience with project tracking or workflow tools is preferred.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
