Epic Testing PM

Responsibilities

• Manages testing project plan, including timeline, waves, milestones, and dependencies for App Testing, Integrated Testing, PRCT, MRT, and Regression Testing.
• Coordinates resources such as application testers and subject matter experts (SMEs), and resolves conflicts.
• Communicates regularly with the Epic team and involved third-party and technical teams about upcoming testing activities and timelines.
• Implements a test management system, including test scripts and tracking mechanisms.
• Develops a plan for escalating testing delays and issues.
• Updates the testing project plan throughout the project lifecycle.
• Liaises between teams, vendors, and project leadership using reports and recurring meetings to escalate issues and delays.
• Provides testing updates and escalates issue resolution to project leadership.
• Ensures testing processes are successfully repeatable.
• Takes ownership of status tracking, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies), decision logs, and escalations.
• Tracks environment readiness and dependencies, including availability windows, refreshes, and access.
• Owns reporting, including progress vs. plan, pass/fail metrics, defect aging, and readiness dashboards.
