Epic Rochester - Mechanical Facilities Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the data center facility, focusing on mechanical systems including chillers and cooling towers.
• Monitor system performance and diagnose/troubleshoot issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure reliable, continuous operation.
• Take ownership of the building, handling general facility needs such as plumbing, fire protection, and basic maintenance.
• Identify issues, prioritize work, and take action with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards for the facility.
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans, and use judgment to determine appropriate levels of independence and engagement with remote experts.

Qualifications
