Epic Rochester - Mechanical Facilities Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve a critical data center facility
  • Monitor system performance and diagnose/troubleshoot issues
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs
  • Handle general facility needs including plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems
  • Identify issues, prioritize work, and take action with minimal oversight
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans
  • Engage remote subject matter experts as needed

Requirements

  • Hands-on, self-directed approach
  • Experience with commercial mechanical systems (3+ years preferred)

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
