Epic Rochester - Mechanical Facilities Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve a critical data center facility
• Monitor system performance and diagnose/troubleshoot issues
• Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs
• Handle general facility needs including plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems
• Identify issues, prioritize work, and take action with minimal oversight
• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans
• Engage remote subject matter experts as needed

Requirements

• Hands-on, self-directed approach
• Essential ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans
• Good judgment to know when to work independently and when to engage remote experts

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with commercial mechanical systems preferred
