Key Responsibilities
- Monitor system performance of mechanical systems including HVAC equipment such as chillers and cooling towers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Complete repairs to ensure reliable, continuous operation of the data center facility.
- Take ownership of the building as a whole, handling general facility needs such as plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems.
- Handle basic building maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
- Hands-on, self-directed approach.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans.
- Judgment to know when to work independently and when to engage remote subject matter experts.
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience with commercial mechanical systems preferred.
