Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and improve the data center facility, focusing on mechanical systems including chillers and cooling towers.
  • Monitor system performance and diagnose/troubleshoot issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and complete repairs to ensure reliable, continuous operation.
  • Take ownership of the building, handling general facility needs such as plumbing, fire protection, and fuel systems.
  • Identify issues, prioritize work, and take action with minimal oversight while maintaining high standards for the facility.
  • Read and interpret mechanical and electrical plans and use judgment to determine appropriate actions.

Requirements

  • Hands-on, self-directed approach.
  • Experience with commercial mechanical systems is a plus.
