Epic Resolute Professional Billing Application Analyst
About the role
We are seeking an Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst II to support Community Connect organizations and physician billing operations. This role is responsible for the configuration, optimization, implementation, and ongoing support of Epic Professional Billing and PB Claims applications. The analyst will work closely with operational, clinical, and revenue cycle teams to ensure billing workflows are efficient, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support Epic Professional Billing (PB) and PB Claims applications across Community Connect sites.
- Configure, build, maintain, and optimize Epic application content and workflows.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions and functional specifications.
- Partner with Revenue Cycle, IT, and operational stakeholders to support billing and claims processing initiatives.
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and optimization projects.
- Maintain application documentation, workflows, procedures, and training materials.
- Serve as a liaison between end users, IT teams, and external vendors.
- Provide after-hours/on-call support as needed.
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience supporting healthcare applications, revenue cycle systems, or Epic applications.
- Epic Professional Billing (PB) Certification required.
- Strong experience supporting Epic PB and PB Claims.
- Experience supporting physician billing, claims management, charge capture, or revenue cycle workflows.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes and translate requirements into system solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Community Connect organizations.
- Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle operations and physician billing processes.
- Prior experience in a large healthcare system or integrated delivery network.
- Experience leading application enhancements and implementation projects.
