EPIC Professional Billing Application Analyst
About the role
The IT EPIC Application Analyst will implement, optimize, and support the EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, ensuring seamless operation and alignment with clinical workflows. You will analyze requirements, configure EPIC modules, perform testing, provide training and support, and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with clinical staff.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and configure EPIC modules
- Perform testing and provide training and support
- Collaborate with clinical staff to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Support and maintain existing functionality and programs
- Implement new functionality and analyze vendor release notes
- Create thorough system design and build documentation
- Translate high-level business requirements into detailed technical designs
- Collaborate with other analysts, staff, vendors, and leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 years of equivalent experience
- Epic Professional Billing certification and/or experience required
- Development experience with applications in a hospital or medical related industry
- Experience working with project life cycle or project management methodologies
- EPIC Certification within 120 days

Pay
The posted compensation range is $43.20 - $71.28 per hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
Schedule
This position is full-time with 80 hours per pay period and operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Remote work is available.
