We are seeking an Epic Analyst to join our Resolute Revenue Cycle Billing team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about improving healthcare through technology and collaboration.

About the role

As a critical liaison between clinical and business operations, this role is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing Epic applications to improve patient care, streamline workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance. Under minimal supervision, you will assist in responding to user requests for new or modified systems, consult on current operating procedures, define system requirements, and determine programming or application functional needs.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, test, implement, support, and analyze programs and software.
  • Consult with users to identify current operating procedures for departmental changes, define system requirements, and identify programming and/or application functional requirements.
  • Recommend designs for new or updated systems based on technical and procedural information, and develop system specifications and programming guidelines.
  • Document application changes for program development and corrections, ensuring compliance with change management policies and procedures.
  • Create and maintain project management documents for technology projects, including work plans, status reports, and risk assessments, and guide project tasks among the Application Systems Analysts team.
  • Perform system testing, validation, and troubleshooting for Epic applications.
  • Participate in Epic upgrades, build activities, and change control processes.
  • Ensure system integrity, data accuracy, and compliance with HIPAA and other standards.
  • Actively drive growth and development in your area of specialty by attaining and maintaining Epic certifications and/or accreditations.
  • Ensure strict compliance with the system-wide Competency & Qualification Requirements Policy.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in planning, design, testing, implementation, support, or analysis of programs and software, or participation in multiple phases of an integrated system implementation.
  • Epic Hospital Billing and Claims Certification completed within 270 days of hire.
  • Experience working with Epic.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to work in an on-call rotation outside of regular business hours once every few months.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
  • Epic Hospital Billing and Claims Certification held upon hire.
  • Experience working with Epic Claims, Remittance, and Clearinghouse processes.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools or analytics platforms.
  • Understanding of HL7, HIPAA, and data governance.

Schedule

  • Full time, day shift.
  • 40 hours per week, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Days worked: Monday to Friday.
  • Weekend frequency: Variable weekends.
