About the role
Epic Project Manager focused on Patient Access, Patient Flow, Facility Structure, and Utilization Management. This is a 100% remote position (must be based in the United States and available for early East Coast meeting times). The initial contract is 12 months with potential extension based on project need. The role involves leading alignment across multiple work groups, managing meeting logistics, producing PowerPoint status decks, meeting minutes, and Orion documentation. The hiring process includes a Teams video interview scheduled ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Own meeting scheduling, PowerPoint status decks, meeting minutes, and Orion documentation across assigned work groups.
- Help drive alignment and hold teams accountable to deadlines and milestones across Patient Access, Referrals, Guided Scheduling, Patient Flow, Facility Structure, and Utilization Management work groups.
- Coordinate cross-team dependencies, particularly where initiatives such as referral consolidation require alignment with teams outside this group.
- Track and report progress on the Gold Star program alongside other active workstreams.
Requirements
- Strong, proven project management fundamentals; comfortable leading alignment across multiple work groups and stakeholder teams simultaneously.
- Prior experience with an Epic modernization, refuel, or comparable large enterprise initiative.
- Ability to speak knowledgeably and confidently about Epic Cadence, Grand Central, Prelude, and related scheduling/registration workflows, even without formal certification.
- Comfortable owning meeting logistics, PowerPoint status decks, meeting minutes, and Orion documentation so client leads can focus on strategic decisions.
- Comfortable working in a fully remote capacity with a distributed project team.
- Must pass a pre‑employment drug screening; marijuana use is a non‑negotiable disqualifier regardless of state legality or medical/recreational status.
- Must be based in the United States and available for early East Coast meeting times.
Skills
- Experience with a Hello World scheduling implementation specifically, including the rebuild work that follows once it goes live (strong plus).
- Familiarity with Gold Star program tracking, dashboard and reporting research, and driving end‑user adoption of existing but underused Epic tools.
- Experience helping consolidate fragmented, multi‑team workflows, for example reconciling separate referral order sets into a single standardized process.
