About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Epic OpTime Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting ongoing Epic application initiatives, optimization, and innovation. This is a hybrid role: 95% remote, 5% onsite. No third parties or C2C arrangements.

Responsibilities

  • Support, build, configure, test, and optimize Epic OpTime workflows and functionality
  • Partner with perioperative, surgical, anesthesia, and IT stakeholders to translate operational needs into effective Epic solutions
  • Troubleshoot application issues and support upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and ongoing maintenance
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, system performance, and end-user experience
  • Support integration and interoperability with third-party applications and technologies
  • Participate in initiatives involving cloud technologies, automation, AI, or other emerging healthcare IT solutions

Requirements

  • Epic OpTime certification required
  • Epic Anesthesia certification strongly preferred
  • 5+ years of Epic OpTime build, implementation, optimization, or support experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of perioperative and surgical workflows
  • Experience working directly with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms, third-party integrations, APIs, automation, or AI-enabled healthcare technologies is a strong plus
  • Interest in expanding beyond traditional Epic application support as the organization adopts new technologies and capabilities
