Epic Lead Business Analyst - Hospital Billing & Claims

Job Summary

The Epic Business Systems Lead Analyst ensures that the operational interests of their respective functional areas are being fully represented in the day-to-day operations of the Information Systems Department. This role supports the Epic applications deployed within the Harris Health System.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education/Work Experience/Licensure: Bachelor's Degree (AND) Certification for at least one Epic Application.
  (Or)
  High School Diploma or GED (AND) Eight (8) Years within IT (OR) 5+ Years Hospital Healthcare Organizations (AND) Certification for at least one Epic Application.
• Management Experience: Two (2) years of Epic Project experience OR Epic Team Lead experience
• Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (e.g., Public Speaking), Writing / Correspondence, Writing / Reports

Other Requirements

• Experience: Be available to work on site or remotely (after hours) as needed.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in a hospital or clinic setting, Experience supporting an Electronic Medical Record System, Healthcare Information Technology experience, Understanding of functional processes and business rules related to the applications being implemented/supported, Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously, be able to prioritize effectively, and meet overlapping deadlines, Understands the limitations and opportunities presented by the applications supported.
