About the role
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Epic Inpatient Research Specialist. Position type: Fulltime, Contract Duration: 12+ months. Location: New York 10041 (Hybrid). Shift: 9:00 AM-06:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Epic Inpatient Research implementation projects from planning through Go-Live.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Epic Research implementation team.
- Utilize deep expertise in Epic Research to guide system design, configuration, and implementation.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor teams to ensure seamless integration across Epic applications.
- Design, configure, and optimize Epic Research workflows to meet organizational and clinical requirements.
- Serve as the primary subject matter expert (SME) for Epic Research functionality, workflows, system configuration, and best practices.
- Develop and implement best practices to improve efficiency, adoption, and overall system performance.
- Lead requirements gathering, workflow analysis, solution design, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
- Support integration planning and coordination with other Epic modules and third-party applications.
- Ensure successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with organizational standards and Epic implementation methodologies.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience delivering full-cycle Epic implementations within large healthcare systems.
- Current Epic Research Certification along with certifications in relevant Epic modules.
- Proven experience leading Epic implementation teams and managing complex healthcare projects.
- Extensive knowledge of Epic Research application configuration, workflows, and functionality.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, clinicians, vendors, and technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of Epic integration across multiple applications.
- Experience leading system build, testing, validation, Go-Live, and post-production support.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to drive implementation best practices and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success leading enterprise-level Epic Research implementations.
- Strong leadership and project ownership with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization skills.
- Experience working in large, multi-site healthcare organizations.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality Epic solutions.
- Passion for driving successful implementations and improving clinical research workflows through Epic technology.
