Epic HB Contract Management Analyst
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Epic HB Analyst to support a large-scale Epic implementation initiative. This role will play a critical part in accelerating contract build efforts, providing Epic best-practice recommendations, and partnering closely with project teams to ensure a successful deployment. This is primarily a remote opportunity; however, candidates must be comfortable traveling approximately 50% of the time to South Florida, typically during the first and third weeks of each month. Additional onsite participation may be required during key project phases.
Responsibilities
- Support Epic Hospital Billing (HB) Contract Management build activities
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders throughout the Epic implementation lifecycle
- Provide guidance on Epic best practices and design recommendations
- Assist with contract configuration, validation, testing, and optimization
- Partner with internal analysts and operational teams to accelerate project deliverables
- Participate in implementation planning, issue resolution, and workflow discussions
- Work independently while maintaining strong collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Help ensure successful project milestones and implementation readiness
Requirements
- Extensive experience with Epic Hospital Billing (HB) contract build
- Previous Epic implementation experience, including contract management build activities
- Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows and hospital billing operations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
- Experience collaborating with analysts, operational stakeholders, and implementation teams
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the Epic HB Charging application
- Multiple Epic implementation engagements supporting Hospital Billing
- Experience providing strategic recommendations and Epic best practices
- Healthcare provider or health system implementation experience
Schedule
Primarily remote with approximately 50% travel to South Florida, typically during the first and third weeks of each month. Additional onsite participation may be required during key project phases.
