Epic Certified PB/HB Workflow & Build Analyst (Remote & Part Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) and/or Hospital Billing (HB) Certified Analyst to review the organization's current Epic Revenue Cycle build and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Analyze coding, charge capture, billing, and workqueue workflows to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
• Evaluate Cogito reports for availability, accuracy, and usefulness in supporting revenue cycle operations
• Work with coding, billing, revenue cycle, and IT teams to understand current processes and pain points
• Identify Epic functionality that may not be fully utilized and recommend configuration or workflow improvements
• Investigate issues impacting revenue capture, with an initial focus on Professional Billing and coding workflows
• Document findings and provide practical recommendations for improving workflows, Epic build, reporting, and overall revenue cycle performance

Requirements

• Current Epic Professional Billing (PB) & Hospital Billing (HB) certification required
• Experience supporting Epic Revenue Cycle implementations, optimizations, or operational support
• Strong knowledge of: Professional Billing and/or Hospital Billing, Coding and charge capture workflows, Epic Workqueues, Cogito reporting, Epic security and user access
• Ability to troubleshoot complex workflow and configuration issues and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with revenue cycle optimization or troubleshooting engagements
• Familiarity with charge capture, coding operations, and revenue integrity

Qualifications

Must be Epic Certified in Hospital Billing and Professional Billing, no third parties, no C2C.
