About the role

The Healthcare Business Intelligence Analyst role supports the full lifecycle of projects, focusing on requirements definitions, quality assurance testing, and user acceptance testing. This role is responsible for executing the full reporting lifecycle, from design, development, testing, documentation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Complete work towards closing tickets, including triage, research, and communication with internal and external members.
  • Develop and update technical documentation for reporting systems.
  • Lead and drive requirement gathering meetings with experts in a variety of fields; defining systems scope and objectives of business requirements, including documentation of requirements (i.e. use cases) and relevant translation into system requirement specifications.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Current Epic Clarity/Cogito certification is REQUIRED.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in Health care IT in a similar or relevant role is required.
  • Experience working in a Healthcare setting supporting Ambulatory Clinic or Acute Care settings is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with custom development within Epic Cogito and Clarity data modeling is required.
  • Experience working with SQL is required.
  • Experience in working with others to identify, define and analyze end user requirements and timelines designed to meet business needs.
  • Consistently acts with integrity and accountability.
  • Process and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and solution oriented.

Qualifications

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis at the time of application. This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship now or in the future. Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.
