Responsibilities
- Assisting the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures.
- Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it.
- Administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Providing direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.
Qualifications
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist
- Required Work Experience: No experience required
- Required Licenses and Certifications: Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license
- Upon Hire: Required or If a graduate of RCIS or EP program, Must obtain RCIS/RCES within 24 months
- BCLS - Basic Life Support: Upon Hire Required
- ACLS: Upon Hire Required
