About the role
Assists the physician in performance of invasive electrophysiology procedures. Has basic knowledge of EP Lab equipment and the maintenance of it while administering direct/indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures. Provides direct and indirect care during established procedures and sedation for patients.
Qualifications
- Education: Registered Nurse (RN), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), EP program graduate, Respiratory Therapist, Exercise Physiology, Paramedic, or Radiology Technologist
- Required Work Experience: No experience required
- Required Licenses and Certifications: Based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license
- Upon Hire: Required BCLS - Basic Life Support, ACLS
