Environmental Technician 1
Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Performing environmental sampling activities, including the collection of air, water, soil, and sediment samples, in accordance with established procedures and safety protocols;
- Installing, operating, inspecting, and performing routine maintenance on remediation and monitoring systems;
- Aiding in field coordination and documenting the activities of subcontractors under the direction of project staff;
- Completing required field paperwork, logs, daily activity reports, and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner;
- Supporting data review, basic data organization, and assisting with report preparation under supervision.
Qualifications
- The ability to safely work independently and in teams while consistently following specific instructions and guidelines;
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written;
- Exceptional diligence;
- A clear driving record.
The position requires regular travel with frequent overnight stays. Candidates should be capable of documenting daily work activities in a clear and organized manner.
A minimum high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. This is an entry-level position (0 to 2 years of experience), and no prior experience is necessary; however, candidates must demonstrate the ability to understand and follow both written and oral instructions.
