About the role

This role involves keeping patient rooms and hospital areas clean and sanitized. The responsibilities include performing routine cleaning tasks like sweeping, mopping, and dusting, using specialized equipment, and sanitizing the facility. Additionally, you will learn and adhere to proper disposal techniques for biohazard materials, refill supplies, and deliver clean linens.

Responsibilities

• Receive and follow cleaning assignments as directed.
• Cleans assigned office and common areas.
• Clean up after accidents or abnormal spills when asked to do so.
• Report damage or abuse of property, maintenance concerns, and any fire or safety hazards.
• Clean and store all equipment and supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness of work areas throughout designated areas of the hospital by washing furnishings, walls, equipment, and mopping and shampooing floors with special cleaning solutions.

Requirements

• Experience in healthcare environmental cleaning is preferred.
