Environmental Services Associate PRN
Primary location: Torrington, Wyoming – Banner Health Torrington Community Hospital, a 25-bed critical-access facility serving southeast Wyoming and bordering Nebraska communities.
About the role
PRN Environmental Services Associate (Housekeeping/EVS) position. You will pick up shifts to cover vacation and sick time, with shift times ranging from Monday–Friday 5:30 am–11:00 pm or weekends 6:00 am–7:00 pm.

Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks—dusting, mopping, scrubbing, disinfecting, vacuuming, and polishing—according to departmental policies and procedures.
- Empty hampers, transport soiled linen, and remove all trash, including medical waste and sharps containers.
- Inventory, restock, and replenish supplies such as toilet tissue, paper towels, and hand soap in assigned areas.
- Maintain cleanliness of departmental equipment and report necessary repairs.
- Protect equipment from damage through proper use and logging.
- Perform special projects, including window washing, wall washing, and removing heavily soiled items or furnishings.
- Respond to questions and requests from patients, staff, and visitors, meeting or exceeding customer service satisfaction goals.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team without continuous supervision.
- Ability to interpret and respond to verbal and written instructions.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and by phone.
- Ability to read and understand material safety data sheets and instructions for mixing and using cleaning chemicals, including filling out chemical identification stickers.
Employees working in behavioral health clinical settings serving children at specific Banner Health locations must possess and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card. An Arizona Criminal History Affidavit must be signed upon hire. Employees at Olive Branch Senior Center must also possess and maintain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous related experience and familiarity with environmental services equipment and cleaning techniques.
- Additional related education and/or experience.
