Key Responsibilities

  • Support compliance with environmental regulations, including air, water, and hazardous waste programs
  • Afford compliance with SPCC and Groundwater Protection Program (GWPP) requirements
  • Lead ISO 14001 environmental management system activities
  • Complete TRI and Tier II reporting data collection and preparation
  • Maintain accurate environmental records and assist with regulatory reporting
  • Participate in routine inspections, housekeeping audits, and Gemba walks
  • Support and/or Lead environmental and LOPC investigations
  • Afford compliance related to specialized equipment (e.g., X-ray devices, as applicable)
  • Sustain sustainability reporting and data tracking
  • Contribute to environmental performance improvements and waste reduction initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Chemistry or other related degree from an accredited program
  • Superior technical writing abilities
  • Basic understanding of environmental regulations (air, water, waste)
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with contractors, co-workers, and other professionals
  • Ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and regulators
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience (including internships or co-ops)
  • Familiarity with environmental data tracking or reporting systems
