Environmental Services Worker SNF MHB OLV

Facility: Mercy Nursing Facility SNF Post Acute – Full Time (1.0 FTE), represented by CWA Local 1133. Non-exempt position.

Schedule

• Day shift with weekend and holiday rotation
• Start time: 7:00 am – 8:00 am
• End time: 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Performs a variety of heavy services and project cleaning tasks to maintain the facility in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition. Operates various types of cleaning equipment and follows step-based cleaning procedures.

Requirements

• High school graduate
• Prior Environmental Service experience and/or experience working in a health care facility and/or using janitorial equipment desirable
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Sufficient reading ability to read safety instructions and chemical product labels

Working Conditions

• Extensive walking and standing
• Considerable stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and handling of supplies, materials, and equipment
