About the role

Facility: Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. Shift: Shift 1. Status: Part Time w/Benefits. FTE: 0.600000. Bargaining Unit: CWA Local 1133. Exempt from Overtime: No. Work Schedule: Days with Weekend and Holiday Rotation. Hours: 7:00am to 3:00pm.

Summary: Performs a variety of heavy services and project cleaning tasks to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition. Operates various types of cleaning equipment, cleans using step based cleaning procedures.

Requirements

• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Experience: Prior Environmental Service experience and/or experience working in a health care facility and/or using janitorial equipment desirable

Qualifications

• Knowledge, Skill and Ability: Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
• Must have sufficient reading ability to read safety instructions and chemical product labels
