Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing various tasks such as cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing patient areas, common spaces, and equipment
• Restock supplies and linens as needed to ensure a consistent and comfortable experience for our patients
• Assist with laundry, trash removal, and recycling services to maintain a tidy and organized facility
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth operation and maximize efficiency
• Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to ensure a safe and functional work environment
• Participate in infection control measures to prevent the spread of illnesses and maintain a hygienic environment
• Environmental Services Worker duties may vary based on the needs of the facility and patients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or a related field is preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
• Environmental Services Worker Certification (CSP) or willingness to obtain within a reasonable timeframe
