Environmental Services Worker

The Environmental Services (EVS) Worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe healthcare environment, supporting infection prevention and patient safety. Key duties include performing cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas following infection control procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring proper waste disposal. The role involves adhering to safety standards, securing the facility, and providing friendly customer service to patients, staff, and visitors. Qualifications include preferred experience in custodial, janitorial, or healthcare cleaning,knowledge of infection prevention practices, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. The role may require physical activity such as lifting, bending, and extended standing, as well as the use of PPE. A High School Diploma is required.
