About the role

Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children is Hawai'i's only maternity, newborn and pediatric specialty hospital. It is well recognized as Hawai'i’s leader in the care of women, infants and children. The Environmental Services staff maintains a high degree of quality service and health care experience by ensuring patient rooms and ancillary areas are clean; trash and bio-hazardous waste is safely removed; and clean linen, laundry and floor care are properly monitored.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and aesthetically cared-for environment at Kapiolani facilities.
• Provide transport services for the department as needed.

Requirements

• Six (6) months environmental services related experience in a hospital setting.

• Knowledge of hospital environmental services standards and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Pay Range: 21.82 - 22.97 USD per hour
