Environmental Services Worker

About the role

The role involves performing various tasks related to environmental services, including waste collection and disposal, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport household and commercial waste to designated disposal sites.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment used in waste management operations.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Comply with local health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management or similar field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills

• Proficient in using waste management equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of local waste management regulations.
