About the role
The Environmental Services Technician position at Providence Kodiak Alaska Medical Center in Kodiak, AK is a Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift role. Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our HireVue system.
Responsibilities
- Cleans and services the main interior of the hospital.
- Strips, waxes, buffs floors and cleans carpets as required.
- Gathers and disposes of trash throughout the hospital.
- Vacuums carpeted floors and dusts.
- Cleans patient rooms, ER, OR and all ancillary areas.
- Performs designated duties to ensure a clean and aseptic environment.
Requirements
Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request.
Qualifications
6 months of Housekeeping experience, hospital or commercial.
