Environmental Services Technician - Per Diem/PRN, 7AM-3PM

About the role

Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking an Environmental Services Technician (EVS) / Housekeeping position at its location at 300 Market St, Saddle Brook, NJ 07663. The schedule is Per Diem (PRN), 7AM-3PM, including weekday and weekend shifts. The compensation is $19.30/Hour + Shift Differential.

Responsibilities

• Support patient recovery and visitor satisfaction by keeping the hospital clean and welcoming.
• Report repair issues and needs on a daily basis or as needed.
• Dust mop and wet mop floors as necessary.
• Clean and polish metal trim, furnishings, and equipment as necessary, and wash walls, windows, and beds as assigned.
• Strip, wax, and buff floors as assigned, following safety precautions.
• Assist in moving furniture as requested.
• Replenish supplies, including soap, towels, and toilet tissue, as well as other disposable items.

Requirements

• Previous housekeeping experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Previous Hospital EVS experience.

Per Diem Requirement

• Must be available to work Six (6) shifts per Six (6) week schedule; Three (3) must be on the Weekend (Saturday's or Sunday's).
