About the role
The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility
- Ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
- Play a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior Hospital Environmental service experience
- Prior work experience following written and verbal instructions
- Previous experience with performing manual tasks
- Previous experience working with the public; customer service
