About the role

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, with comprehensive on-the-job training offered
• Prior hospital environmental service experience preferred
• Experience following written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience with performing manual tasks preferred
• Experience working with the public; customer service skills preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Frequent movement throughout the hospital during the majority of the shift
• Flexibility and physical stamina are essential
