Environmental Services Technician Lead

About the role

The Environmental Services Technician Lead at CHI St Alexius Health Dickinson is responsible for leading and mentoring Environmental Services technicians, overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing inventory, implementing and enforcing safety protocols, collaborating with management on scheduling, performance reviews, and process improvements, and troubleshooting equipment issues.

Responsibilities

• Leads and mentors EVS technicians, providing guidance and training.
• Oversees daily cleaning operations, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Manages inventory and ensures proper use of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Implements and enforces safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Collaborates with management on scheduling, performance reviews, and process improvements.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues and addresses immediate operational needs.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using cleaning equipment and following safety protocols is required.

Skills

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure. Knowledge of cleaning procedures and safety protocols is essential.
